Maître David LEYS obtained a master’s degree in Law from UCL and a Master in European Law from the College of Europe in Bruges in 2012. He also obtained, in 2020, an L.L.M from Columbia University. He is lawyer at the Brussels Bar since 2014.
He is specialized in international and European Union law and in the protection of personal data.
He works in French, English and Dutch.
Me LEYS is also an assistant at the Catholic University of Louvain (UCL)(CRIDES) in corporate law, and a professor at the HEFF.
He holds a CIPP/E (certified Information Privacy Professional / Europe), and he is author of publications in the Harvard International Law journal Online, e-Competitions Bulletin and La libre Belgique.
